Looking the design your own skateboard?

We offer in-house design services to help create your custom skateboard graphics.

If you have art already, simply use our custom skate deck graphic art template and follow the steps below.

Step #1 – Download and open “CUSTOM SKATE DECK TEMPLATE.PSD”

Step #2 – Add your artwork below the lowest layer – “PLACE ART BELOW THIS LAYER” – and scale to size.

Be sure to use rectangular art!

Step #3 – Turn on “ART EXPORT” layer and check for transparency. If you see transparency, your artwork is too small and needs to be scaled larger. Center the artwork. Once all transparency is gone and artwork is centered you are ready to mock-up any size and shape deck!

Step #4 – To create your mock-up, begin by turning the “ART EXPORT” layer off. Toggle the other predesigned layers (labeled by deck type and size) to view your art on the shape you’d like to use.

If you notice the artwork is getting obstructed by the bolt holes, use the arrow keys to shift the art up or down for the desired cropping.

Once you’re satisfied, save as a JPEG by going to “File>Save As.”

Step #5 – To prep your art to submit for printing, turn off all shape and size layers, then turn on the “ART EXPORT” layer.

Select the “ART EXPORT” layer so that it is highlighted.

Press “W” to turn on magic wand. Click the white area of the “ART EXPORT” layer mask.

Change layer selection to your artwork layer. Press delete key to delete all areas outside of the export mask.

Turn off all layers except your artwork.

Save your final artwork file as a PSD by going to “File>Save As.” Label the file with your project name for future reference.

Step #6 – Submit graphic for print approval!
