Custom grip tape is an easy, cost effective way to add another dimension to your custom skateboard project.
We use a die-cutting process for our custom grip tape. This involves a steel rule die that stamps a pattern out of the grip tape itself, leaving a clean cut edge without the burning often seen with laser cut grip. This allows us to create a wide range of skateboard grip tape designs.
Our stock 80 grit 9″ x 33″ skate grip tape is extremely high quality, with pliable backing and perforations to prevent air bubbles and poor adhesion. It also also features a super sticky adhesive backing to withstand the highest temperatures and an epoxy overcoat that makes this grip last session after session.
We also offer 11″ longboard grip tape in a wide variety of colors available nowhere else! 36 grit coarse longboard grip tape is also an available option.

I am curious what the maximum parameters are for your die cutting abilities, in addition to a price chart for price/quantity as well as minimum order

Die setups are pretty inexpensive but cost will vary based on size and intricacy of the design. For the sake of an example, a die around 6.75″ x 2.75″ would be roughly $180. At that point it’s just a small labor upcharge of $0.75 cut on each piece of grip. Our 9″x 33″ is only $2.48 per piece right now, so this is a very inexpensive option for some cool customization. Minimum order is only a 20 sheet box.
